Precision straightening of ball screws
Ball recirculating screws range from 100 mm up to over 4000 mm and require an extremely high measurement accuracy. Generally, straightening process requires lots straightening points.
Multi-point measurement and straightening let to work parts efficiently. Ball screws can be straightened through two different machine models, PAS and FALK, depending on the length, sections, mix, head machining, tolerances required. Ball screws can be loaded/unloaded by portal systems, chain conveyors with forks, or by 6-axis robots according to customer plant layout requirements or to the production flow to be followed.
