本系列机床为磨头移动式机床，即工作台只在床身导轨上由液压驱动作纵向运动，磨头在拖板上工作横向运动，拖板连同魔头在立柱上作垂直运动。

Set up in 1965, was one of the four earliest surface grinder building bases in China, the member of the grinders branch to China Machine Tool industrial Association, directily joined in making and executing the grinding technical standards and documents.
Since 1991, it has been cooperating with Germany G&H and Spanish GER in building FS precision surface grinders with horizontal spindle and rectangular table, and leading the international advanced level in this field.
Its products have been finding a good sale to the Europe, America and Southeast Asia., Just in Europe it owned over 40 percent of surface grinding market occupation which is still being raised up.
