Continuous roll marking
The marking is achieved by a number of revolutions of the marking roll. The marking roll (Typ 40) is bound to a certain work piece diameter.
Application:
Marking roll bound to a certain work piece diameter
Marking roll usually designed for one work piece only
The driving knurl can be removed with further processing after the marking operation (e.g. cutting off)
Characteristics:
Marking achieved by a number of revolutions of the marking roll
Continuous contact of the marking roll during the marking process until tool retraction
Handling:
Precise concentricity required
