PLC (Planar lightwave circuits):平面光波导技术,就是在基片上面利用集成电路工艺制作能够导光的光路。如同电子集成,它是光通信集成的基础。目前的PLC技术是在硅衬底上制备二氧化硅、铌酸锂、聚合物和磷化铟等。相应的制备工艺为PECVD、FHD、离子扩散、质子交换、旋涂等。
在PLC日益成为工厂自动化基本技术平台的时代,如何选用一部适用的PLC以达到真正需要,而又能符合经济效益,是一项重要课题。PLC本身强调的特色是:体积小、功能高、性能强、操作简便、程序设计简易、模块扩充有弹性、联机容易等。针对上述特色说明,选择符合功能需求与经济效益的PLC系统。本文虽然基于台达系列PLC论述,但是引用原则适合一般的选购选型设计。
