MACHINE DESCRIPTION:
The MULTIPLEX 6300-II Y CNC Turning Center provides Multi-Tasking capability with dual-spindles, dual-turrets and rotary tool capability for highly efficient mid-sized lot production. Both spindles can be used to machine the front and back sides of parts, including milling operations, for Done-In-One, single-setup production. Equal in performance, both turning spindles can be used to simultaneously cut two parts at one time. Continuous simultaneous machining by both spindles is possible thanks to automatic workpiece transfer from one spindle to the other. Their synchronized rotation also delivers high-accuracy for operations involving longer shaft work with opposite part ends chucked in each spindle.
